In Mayang Mode again

A lovely evening spent at the far end of the beach. The photo below is an enlargement of the one above, showing Jamie on his precarious position on the promontory of rocks, much closer to the sunset!

We did an impromtu trip again to Mayang Sari - Mish had this sudden urge to go there - and so the scramble was on for room and ferry bookings. Caitlin of course had the best time ever. While Tuff was not able to make it to the spa, Mish and I treated ourselves. Who could resist a massage in a balinese house, non-airconditioned, set in a tranquil garden, with water features, birds chirping, and within minutes of sand and surf ? Again, we were warmly welcomed - no more herding to a group bus, no more "Pereira" signs at the terminal, just familiar faces, a private vehicle; warm hellos, like a welcome home. I felt bad that I had no time to buy gifts for the children of our favourite staff. Though short a trip, we still managed to have fun. Here are some photos and a video.
