2nd Post this Week; I'm on a roll

OK, here are more photos from New Orleans, and Los Angeles. They are not in order of our trip - it takes too long to re-arrange once they are uploaded; and so long as I've got them up, enjoy.

The Avila Adobe, oldest house in L.A., built in 1818.
We think this is Dolce's father, now residing at Olvera St; L.A.
Olvera Street is where the Mexicans reside.

Hollywood is not all glam.

It probably was Johnny Depp, out to fool everyone.

The balcony used for Pretty Woman

Spidey was out that day

Never mind the wind in my hair - the Hollywood sign is in the background

Hmm; prominent finger parts?

I was so hoping to see Ryan

Alan Jackson's star

Adrian with Elvis and Darth

Mann's Chinese Theatre; home of the Oscars
Poor thing lah, Michael

That busy junction in Hollywood

The Stars pavement stretches for about 2 miles

At the Farmers' Market, L.A.

Our very own Banana Leaf restaurant there

Rodeo Drive - the exclusive pedestrian walkway

There are 2 George Michaels?

Venice Beach, California - Anything goes

See above caption

You're facing the wrong way, buddy

Wouldn't want to meet them in a dark alley

Age-old Streetcar, New Orleans - Fantasia, is that you ?

Santa Monica Street Dancers ready to do their thing

Such a darling!!

Wolfgang Puck's restaurant in Santa Monica

Palm Trees everywhere - Lovely Santa Monica was just 15 minutes and US 75 cents from our airport hotel.

With the Santa Monica Pier in the background

In no other place would these fit as well as in California

Uninhibited and Happy, she danced to the violinist's frenzied playing.

Super Talented; he played homage to Santana

Well, he loves Sheryl Crow's "All I Wanna Do", so we had to do this!

Back in New Orleans, Folks. The roads in the French Quarter were closed over the weekend to allow stage shows.

Bead throwing is a traditional way of having fun in New Orleans. At night, you get beads thrown at you if you ask for them; but mostly, beads are bought and just thrown to people.

This Chinese couple did a fantastic jive to the jazz in the French Quarter.

At Venice Beach, California

Homes along this delightful canal; Venice Beach

Marina Del Ray, outside L.A. - another of George Strait's songs!

New Orleans again - it was a looong train running.

Ah, finally, a gumbo. So So.
